Pjotr Sapegin – 2011

Explore the work of Norwegian film-maker Pjotr Sapegin, one of the world’s leading animator artists engaged with claymation and cinema puppetry. At the beginning of the 1990s he started his surprisingly productive and diverse career making a number of visually opulent films where he combines literary absurd with Nordic mythology that have been  celebrated widely throughout the world.

Besides a survey of his hilariously original and enjoyable animated films from his two decades productions Sapegin will present his latest new film, which is a Swedish- Norwegian coproduction with among other Max Von Sydow giving a voice to the main character.
